Cocaine Bear

This shit right here was one of the best theater experiences of my life. Kat and I lost our shit. I honestly can’t think of anything to compare it with.

It’s about a bear, that ingests cocaine, becomes addicted to said cocaine, and goes on a coke-fueled rampage over territory, paranoia, and the next fix. It’s bonkers and Elizabeth Banks is bonkers too.

And it’s all done with a surprising amount of empathy for the bear.

Two things:

1) This movie has two of the most likable and funny child characters I have seen in a long, long time and
2) Ray Liotta’s last movie. Godamn I’ll miss that guy. He was always 100% no matter what. Cocaine Bear is another great addition to a long line of cool shit he’s worked on.
