Non-Stop

Synopsis via Letterboxd:

THE HIJACKING WAS JUST THE BEGINNING.

Bill Marks is a Federal Air Marshall for whom every day is the same until this one. On this plane ride, he starts receiving text messages from someone claiming to be on the flight and threatening to kill passengers. In a race against the clock, he must identify and stop the killer to save everyone on board.

Working my way down the previously mentioned Jaume Collet-Serra and Liam Neeson rabbit hole and this was fun. This journey is actually pretty great. As I’ve mentioned before my suspension of disbelief nob got stuck at maximum when I watched the first four Nightmare on Elm Street movies, in a single day, when I was five.

Movies don’t have to make sense for me to have fun. This one actually was pretty cohesive and well put together. Was it silly? Absolutely. But who gives a shit. It works.

Collet-Serra really knows how to not just stack a cast, but how to get the most out of it.

On to The Communter.
