Skinamarink

You know what? I liked it. There's a great deal to be said for new experiences and this is definitely out there. Very Lynchian. Usually not being able to tell what's happening or being able to see anything in a movie is a negative thing, but this movie uses all of it's visual space in a way that works at your imagination.

I kept wondering, is what's happening here really as bad as it seems or am I imagining it? Both? Neither? The steadily shifting and vanishing points of egress are a great addition to a film that feels like it’s constantly in you peripheral. So much is happening just out of sight and you almost don’t want to see it, because then it would be real.

Anyway, while this movie is an extremely unconventional lo-fi outing, it is also simultaneously high art.

If you're bored then I don't know what to tell you. Some flicks just aren't about how fast the ride goes, but the quality of the time you spent on it.
